Additional Information
Why We Recommend This
Guar is the most drought hardy annual legume out there. Guar pods are extremely high in protein, making it a great grazer. Guar's roots contain nitrogen fixing bacteria that can enhance the yields of succeeding crops. Guar is one of the few crops that will grow in salty and alkaline soils.
Things to Watch Out For
Guar grows slowly and is susceptible to weed problems.
