Additional Information
Why We Recommend This
Balansa clover is not a host for cyst nematodes in soybeans, unlike other clovers, and it is well suited for grazing. Balansa clover also has better cold tolerance and produces more biomass than other clovers. Like other clovers, it accumulates N which can be used by the next crop.
Things to Watch Out For
Balansa clover comes between one third and one half hard seeded, which may slow germination or postpone it for years.
